Fit for Life is a communication and engagement strategy that turns complex health messages into clear actions for workplaces and communities.
Challenge
As the health guidance expanded, it became easier for people to tune out. Memorable characters and plain-language cues made the message relatable, repeatable, and easier to act on.

Together with Ethos Health, we developed a character-led system and mnemonic icons that map key risk factors to simple, memorable actions. We combined research, co-creation, and iteration to build a flexible visual language that works across posters, video, digital toolkits, and on-site activations. The platform has been adopted across three industries and five organisations including Glencore, Ausgrid, Yancoal, PWCS, and Hunter Water. It improves awareness, supports behaviour change, and makes health and safety conversations easier for teams, families, and communities. The characters transform complex guidance into quick recognition and practical habits, helping organisations communicate consistently while strengthening wellbeing at work.
